The Subscriptions toolbar button displays a form that lists the subscription payments stored in the database. If it is pressed when the Members’ Details page is showing then the subscriptions of that individual member are listed. If pressed when the Branch Details page is active then subscriptions applying to the branch are listed. You can alter the view between the individual member or All, Past, Current and Future subscriptions using the View menu. A subscription is any payment or series of payments you wish to collect from your divers. It may be membership or training fees, a magazine subscription, insurance premium or even payments towards a club holiday. Subscriptions are tracked on a monthly basis, so each month you can print personalised invoices to send to those members whose subscriptions are due. You can also print reminders for overdue payments and finally notices to say that you have dropped members who still haven’t paid up. Structuring the data in this way allows you to manage subscriptions for multiple certifying agencies, and for your branch members to join one, many or no agencies. It also allows the branch to offer other services to members such as magazine subscriptions. The list of available subscriptions from which you can pick is controlled using the Manage Subscriptions form accessed from the Resources menu of the Operations Centre. |
