If you are responsible for logging
all of the dives for your branch you will find it tedious to enter dives
for many people individually. This is particularly the case where a group
all performed similar dives on the same day, at the same location.
The “Log Club Dive” sequence
greatly reduces the amount of keying, and hence time, needed to enter the
salient points about a group dive. There are two forms; the first lets you
select the people in the diving party and the second lets you enter the
dive details of this group.
First select the people on the
dive. The form lists all of the divers in your branch. If you click the
“guests” checkbox then all of the divers in
the database will be shown.
Click the rows of the grid to
select each diver who was on the dive. Then press the Register... button,
this causes the Divers to be remembered for the second part of the
process. The Clear button will clear the form and close will abort the
process, deselecting any records that may have been selected earlier.
Assuming you pressed Register...
the second screen will appear.
