When Diver & Instructor
Grades is chosen from the Resources menu a form is displayed that lists
the grades of whichever Certifying Agency the current branch belongs to.
So if you want to edit BSAC grades position to a BSAC branch, for SAA
grades select an SAA branch etc.
Diving Grade titles are no longer
pre-set in Dive Data. Instead Dive Data holds a database of the various
qualifications issued by different certifying agencies. Typing into the
Manage Diving Grades grid alters these Grades.
The grid has three columns
Rank
is a number that sets the order in which grades are displayed in
pick-lists. They are also a way of setting equivalency between different
Agencies’ qualifications.
Grade
is the descriptive title of each grade. When you change a
member’s grade this text is copied into the membership record.
Symbol
is used in the key of various membership listings and reports.

Grades switches between displaying diver and instructor grades.
