The equipment detail form has
four pages; Summary, Dive
Shop, Manufacturer and
Services.
Summary
The Summary page has details of
the model of the item, and what type it is. You can enter any type (even
call fins ‘Flippers’ if you want!) or pick from a list of the types
already in the database. If the equipment has a serial number there is
room to enter it here.
The summary page also has a
checkbox that you can use to enter if the item is on loan. Clicking the
box causes a sub-form to pop up into which you can enter the details of
the loan; who you lent the item to, when it was lent and when you expect
it back. The default dates are from today until a month hence.
This information is shown on the
Summary page in blue. If the loan becomes overdue the text changes to red.
Equipment on loan is also displayed as blue text in the Equipment List
form.
