The dive profile is only
displayed if you have recorded that you used a computer, as you will need
a computer to give you the minute-by-minute measurements of depth against
time used to construct the profile.
The grid allows you to
enter your time/depth readings at minute intervals. You should start at
0,0 and finish at zero depth the minute after
surfacing. Simply type the times and depths into the grid.
When you press the Save button
the Maximum depth, Average depth and Dive Time are calculated from the
profile you entered. The profile is displayed as a graph and the rate of
air consumption calculated from the following formula:-
Note that the graphing routine
expects a depth reading every minute. It can’t cope with two a minute,
or one every two minutes!
