Dive Locations
This screen allows you to
enter details about a dive site. The location is sorted in three levels;
Country, Location and Site. It is up to you how you define location and
site. For inland sites I normally use the nearest town/village as the
location and the name of the venue (Stoney Cove, Crystal Waters etc) as
the site.
Offshore sites are even worse to
describe because wrecks can rarely be described in terms of the nearest
town. The GPS field compensates for this a little by allowing a Global
Positioning System reference to be typed in. However the references vary
between models which is why there is a whose field allowing you to enter
“Fred’s Decca” etc.
