The setup program does not support network
installations. However DiveData 2000 will run on a Windows network in
client:server mode. The steps to set up a network installation are
- Install DiveData 2000 on each PC that will be used to manage
training records.
- Move the DiveData 2000 directory and all the files in it from one
PC to the network drive
- Delete the DiveData 2000 directory from each client PC
Create a shortcut on each client PC pointing to DiveData.exe on the
networked share
